The “Bird Feed Workshop” organized by the İstinye Young TEMA Club was held on March 16, 2026, at the SKS Office of the Vadi Main Campus of İstinye University. The event was planned as a hands-on workshop aimed at contributing to nature within the framework of sustainability and environmental awareness.
During the workshop, participants designed and created bird feeders by reusing used boxes and recyclable materials. These feeders were later hung on trees around the campus to provide support for birds, especially during cold weather conditions when finding food becomes more difficult.
Throughout the event, students experienced firsthand the importance of recycling while also developing a sense of responsibility toward nature. Participants additionally had the opportunity to improve their creativity and handcraft skills, making the workshop both enjoyable and productive.
The event was completed as a meaningful initiative that contributed to the promotion of environmentally friendly practices and encouraged sustainable living habits among students.
