The Literature and Debate Club held a Book Analysis Event off-campus on December 2nd.

The event focused on Hakan Günday's novel, *Kinyas and Kayra*. This striking novel of modern Turkish literature presents the existential angst, alienation, violence, and the search for freedom through a profound narrative of two main characters. With its plot unfolding in different geographical locations and its harsh language, the novel confronts the reader with the dark aspects of human nature.

During the event, participants discussed the psychological analyses of Kinyas and Kayra, the novel's philosophical underpinnings, and the author's narrative style. Discussions centered on the work's social critiques and individual questioning allowed for a multifaceted examination of the literary perspective.

In a warm and interactive atmosphere, participants had the opportunity to listen to different interpretations and share their thoughts.
