Neocortex Neuroscience Club – Article Presentation and Discussion Session

The “Article Presentation and Discussion” event organized by the Neocortex Neuroscience Club was held on May 5, 2026, at Z11 Hall of the Vadi Main Campus of İstinye University. The event aimed to improve students’ abilities in reading, analyzing, and academically discussing scientific research.

As part of the program, students presented recently published neuroscience articles they had researched. New findings, research methods, and scientific approaches in the field of neuroscience were examined in detail. Participants also had the opportunity to evaluate current developments in the field through various study topics.

Following the presentations, an interactive discussion session was held in which students exchanged ideas about the articles, enhancing their critical thinking and academic interpretation skills. The event encouraged participants to approach scientific topics from different perspectives.

Throughout the event, it was emphasized that scientific research gains meaning not only through theoretical knowledge but also through discussion and analytical processes. The program also aimed to strengthen students’ academic communication skills.
