The event titled “The Perfectionism Trap: Getting Lost While Trying to Be Perfect,” organized by the Psychology Club, was held on April 18–19, 2026, at the Congress Center of the Topkapı Campus. The event was planned as a comprehensive program aimed at increasing students’ awareness of perfectionism by addressing the concept from multiple perspectives.
As part of the two-day event, seminars were delivered by eight expert psychologists, covering key topics such as the psychological effects of perfectionism, the pressure it places on individuals, and its relationship with anxiety and burnout in detail.
The program also included two workshops, where participants had the opportunity to put theoretical knowledge into practice. Through these interactive sessions, they engaged in activities focused on emotional awareness, coping strategies, and healthy thinking skills.
The event was successfully completed as a productive and awareness-raising organization that helped participants better understand themselves, gain new perspectives on coping with perfectionism, and support their psychological well-being.
