Student Leadership Program – Çanakkale Visit

The Çanakkale Trip, organized by our university for our student leaders, was carried out with the aim of strengthening students’ historical awareness, enabling them to experience our national values on-site, and enhancing solidarity among students. By visiting Çanakkale—one of the most significant turning points in our history—our students had the opportunity to closely observe the traces of the past and feel the spirit of this great epic.

During the trip we organized with our student leaders, we had the opportunity to experience one of the key moments of our history firsthand and to feel our national values more deeply. Within the scope of the trip, martyrs’ cemeteries, monuments, and important historical sites were visited; accompanied by guides, the heroic stories of the Gallipoli Campaign, examples of sacrifice, and their significance for our nation were explained in detail.

Thanks to this meaningful day, we shared a visit filled with national sentiments and memories together with our students. While our students once again recognized the importance of unity and solidarity, they also felt more deeply the strong bonds that connect the past to the future. At the same time, this trip became a productive organization that strengthened the social ties of our student leaders, supported team spirit, and enabled them to create unforgettable memories.

Our university continues to organize activities that support not only the academic success of our students but also their cultural, social, and personal development.
