Language Learning from Past to Present
On December 9th, an event titled "Language Learning from Past to Present" was held at the Valley Main Campus, in collaboration with the Translation Club and the Artificial Intelligence Club.
The event covered the historical development of language learning and provided information about traditional language learning methods. Classical approaches used in language teaching, the transformation of these methods over time, and their effects on learning processes were presented through examples. Participants had the opportunity to gain comprehensive information about language learning techniques applied in different periods.
The program continued with a discussion of the impact of artificial intelligence technologies on language learning processes. The contributions of AI-supported applications, translation technologies, and digital learning tools to language acquisition were shared with current examples. Evaluations were made on the opportunities offered by the use of technology in language learning and changing learning habits.
The event, conducted from an interdisciplinary perspective, concluded with a productive content that allowed participants to evaluate developments in both language learning and artificial intelligence together.
