Young TEMA Club – “Before It Burns” Awareness Booth

The “Awareness Booth” organized by the İstinye Young TEMA Club was held on April 27, 2026, in the common area of the Vadi Main Campus of İstinye University. The event was organized under the theme “Before It Burns” to draw attention to forest fires and raise public awareness on the issue.

At the booth, participants were informed about the causes of forest fires, the damage they cause to the environment and ecosystems, and the individual and social precautions that can be taken to prevent them. Students were also made aware of simple yet effective measures that can be applied in daily life.

Throughout the event, one-on-one interactions with visitors emphasized the importance of environmental awareness and highlighted the necessity of protecting nature for a sustainable future. In addition, participants were encouraged to actively engage with the topic in order to create lasting awareness.

The event aimed to spread awareness that forest fires can be prevented before they even begin and to increase the number of environmentally conscious individuals committed to protecting nature.
