Cancer Awareness Booth by the ASCO-OSIG Club
The ASCO-OSIG Club organized an all-day Cancer Awareness Booth event at the Valley Main Campus on November 11, 2024.
The event aimed to raise awareness about the fight against cancer, providing students and participants with information about cancer types, the importance of early diagnosis, and treatment processes.
Visitors to the booth received answers to their questions about cancer from experts, while the importance of regular health check-ups and what to look out for in terms of early diagnosis was emphasized. In addition, various brochures and informational materials were distributed throughout the event to raise awareness.
ASCO-OSIG Club officials stated that raising awareness in the fight against cancer is of vital importance and expressed their intention to continue organizing such events. The event attracted significant interest, particularly from students.
It was emphasized that such organizations play an important role in increasing social awareness in the fight against cancer.
