“Pre-Interview & Monologue Examples” Event by the Istinye University Theatre Club
The “Theatre Club Pre-Interview & Monologue Examples” event, organized by the Istinye University Theatre Club, was held to inform and guide students who planned to participate in the auditions. The event took place on October 27, 2025, at the Topkapı Campus Congress Center.
During the event, club members explained in detail what candidates can expect during theatre auditions. Participants were informed about stage posture, emphasis and intonation, breathing techniques, and performance evaluation criteria. Additionally, monologue examples suitable for auditions were shared, providing students with support in practicing and preparing for the stage.
The event aimed to help students interested in theatre attend auditions in a more informed and confident manner. The Theatre Club stated that, through this process, it aims to both increase participation and strengthen students’ motivation toward the performing arts.
