Istanbul University Hosted an Event on “The Use of Landscape in Architecture”
The “Use of Landscape in Architecture” event, organized by the Istinye University Energy and Engineering Club, took place on December 2, 2024, at the Vadi H Campus. The event, which began at 11:30 a.m., was met with great interest from architecture and engineering students.
During the event, topics such as the importance of landscape in architectural projects, sustainable design approaches, and the contributions of green spaces to urban life were discussed. Expert speakers gave detailed presentations on the integration of modern landscape design into architecture and its environmental impacts. Participants had the opportunity to examine the contributions of landscape design to the aesthetic and functional characteristics of buildings through examples.
At the end of the event, students and academics exchanged ideas about the future of landscape architecture and asked questions. It was emphasized that the event provided a holistic perspective across the disciplines of architecture and engineering.
