Assistant Professor ÜLKÜ KÖLEMEN

Ülkü Kölemen graduated from the Department of English Language Teaching at Uludağ University in 2010. She earned her MA in English Language Teaching from International Burch University, Sarajevo, in 2012, and received her PhD in Applied Linguistics in 2016. She has held various academic positions including instructor, research assistant, lecturer, and assistant professor at multiple universities. Her career is marked by continuous professional growth and is shaped by an interdisciplinary and international trajectory that includes academic and professional experience across different countries. She has worked extensively in both spoken and sign languages, and her collaborations with globally recognized scholars have enriched her expertise in language studies. Dr. Kölemen's research interests span English language teaching methodology, applied linguistics, translation studies, and sign languages. She is the founder of an online language school dedicated to delivering high-quality language education, reflecting her dedication to bridging academic knowledge with societal needs. With substantial experience in teaching, mentoring, international dissemination, and participation in academic boards, she continues to contribute to the fields of language pedagogy, materials development, translation, and accessibility studies.
