Bilici received her B.Sc. (2010), M.Sc. (2013), and Ph.D. (2019) degrees
in Chemistry from Istanbul Technical University (ITU). During
her doctoral studies, she focused on shape-memory and smart
hydrogels. Between 2020 and 2023, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher
at Sabancı University, focusing on 3D bioprinting applications of biopolymers
and hydrogels. From September 2024 to September 2025, she served as a Visiting
Scholar at the Terasaki Institute in Los Angeles, USA, where she conducted research
on hydrogels and biomaterials for bioengineering and biomedical applications.
Since September 2023, she has been working as an Assistant Professor at Istinye
University. Her research interests include hydrogels, smart and functional
biomaterials, biopolymers, and 3D bioprinting technologies.
