Dear Students,
Engineering and natural sciences are no longer just fields that develop technology; they are fundamental disciplines that produce solutions to the global challenges facing humanity and directly shape our quality of life. In this era where knowledge and technology evolve at a breathtaking pace, there is a greater need than ever for individuals who can think analytically, take ethical values as their guide, and possess an innovative vision to transform society.
As the Istinye University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, our primary goal is to raise innovative and entrepreneurial leaders who can think strategically, possess team spirit, uphold ethical values, follow the path of science, compete at a universal level, and lead society.
In our undergraduate programs, including Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Software Development, Mathematics, Molecular Biology and Genetics, and Chemistry, we adopt a student-centered education model. We prepare our students for the professional world by establishing strong industry collaborations and provide them with international competence through our high-quality education aligned with MÜDEK and FEDEK accreditation standards.
As part of our research university vision, we position artificial intelligence and data at the center of all our processes. We transform our R&D activities into social benefits and value-added technologies. With our academic staff possessing high research potential, we carry out projects supported by TÜBİTAK, TÜSEB, and the European Union, involving our students in national and international working groups even at the undergraduate level.
