Res. Asst. Elif Yilmaz
Kimya
Elif Yılmaz received her B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from Yıldız Technical University in 2022 and her M.Sc. degree in Chemistry from Istanbul Technical University in 2025. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Istanbul Technical University and has been working as a Research Assistant in the Department of Chemistry at Istinye University since 2024. Her master’s research focused on the development of molecular sensors selective for heavy metal ions. She is actively involved in TÜBİTAK-funded projects and conducts interdisciplinary research spanning inorganic, organic, and analytical chemistry. Her research interests include the design of colorimetric and fluorimetric probes for metal ion detection, smartphone-based on-site sensing systems, and spectroscopic and electrochemical analysis methods.
