CRISPR/Cas9-Based Genome Editing in Plants

Prof. Dr. Filiz Gürel from Istanbul University, Faculty of Science, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics gave an informative seminar on genome correction in plants with CRISPR / Cas9, a method of genome correction. In her speech, classical genome editing techniques were compared with current techniques. Our seminar was held within the scope of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology course.
