Prof. Cem Dane

He was born in İzmir. He graduated from Ege University, Faculty of Medicine in 1988. He started obstetrics and gynecology residency training at Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Istanbul University- Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty, in 1990. He has worked as visiting doctor at Gynecologic Endoscopy Department, Hopital France-Reine Elisabeth Brussels, Belgium in 1996. He became Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology on 18th June 2010. He was granted Scientific Research Award in 2010. He is a board-certified Gynecologic Oncology Surgery in 2011. He has co-authored 55 articles published in the international peer-review journals, 98 international oral-poster presentations, three chapters in international and national books, 49 articles published in national peer review journals and 144 oral-poster presentations in national congress. He served as a reviewer in 23 international journals. He has over 950 citations and his h-index is 18. He started as university lecturer at Istanbul Rumeli University, Vocational School of Health Services in March 2021. Between the years 2013-2021, he was head of Gynecology and Obstetrics Department and as a gynecologic oncologist at Istanbul Health Sciences University SultanGazi-Haseki Training and Research Hospital. He was then appointed as Full professorship in Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of Beykent University on April 1, 2021, he became Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His clinical specialty is gynecological cancers. He started working as a professor at Istinye University, Faculty of Medicine as of October 1, 2021. He is attended as head of department gynecology and obstetrics at 07.12.2021. He is still working as a gynecologic oncologist at Istinye University Hospital MedicalPark Gaziosmanpaşa.
