Istinye University Multiomic Innovation Center (ISUMIC) aims to contribute to early diagnosis, personalized treatment, and drug development processes through the generation and analysis of multiomic data in clinically significant areas—particularly cancer and cardiovascular diseases. Within this scope, ISUMIC focuses on producing high-quality data across domains such as genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and microbiomics in accordance with international standards; analyzing these data using artificial intelligence and bioinformatics approaches, translating findings into clinical applications, discovering novel biomarkers, and developing decision support systems.
Through the integrative analysis of multiple omic layers, ISUMIC seeks to advance the comprehensive understanding of diseases and foster the development of early diagnostic tools and personalized therapeutic strategies. ISUMIC prioritizes the direct translation of laboratory findings into clinical decision-making, the expansion of research capacity through national and international collaborations, and the establishment of the highest standards in data security and quality management.
