The Istinye University Scientific Research Projects (BAP) Coordination Office is structured to support the scientific research of academic staff. The BAP Guidelines define all procedures and principles regarding project application, evaluation, support, execution, and completion processes.
Applications for BAP projects are open to Istinye University faculty members and researchers who have completed doctoral, artistic proficiency, or medical specialization training. Applications are received through the system, and ethical committee approval and legal permissions are required where necessary.
Support types include initial research projects, independent projects, interdisciplinary projects, thesis projects, and projects encouraging the participation of undergraduate students. All projects are evaluated scientifically and administratively by the BAP Commission. A final report must be prepared at the end of the projects, which are carried out within the specified timeframe.
Intellectual property rights and scientific outputs obtained from the projects belong to the university, and the university's established procedures will be implemented in projects that violate the guidelines.
For detailed information and all application requirements, please review the ISU BAP Guidelines.
