Since 2010, she has been working as a lecturer. Kılanç who has journals about public relationship and communications in refereed journals, chapter articles in books, get the title of associate professor in Applied Communication field. Professor Kılanç has been working at İstinye University since 2017. While she continue her academic life as a full-time faculty member at the Department of Public Relations and Advertising at the Faculty of Communication at İstinye University, she has also assumed the administrative role of Department Head.
