As the Faculty of Communication at Istinye University, our aim is to educate individuals who can anticipate the dynamics of today’s world and, more importantly, demonstrate the courage to engage in effective and innovative initiatives in response to these developments. In an era in which new communication technologies and mediatic mechanisms play a decisive role in shaping the global agenda, we strive to cultivate graduates who are fully aware of this critical transformation and capable of engaging in communicative discourse and action in the public interest within the societies in which they live.
Our educational approach encourages students to adopt the principles of lifelong learning, teaching, and research, fostering a continuous desire to be part of innovation and development. At the same time, we emphasize the importance of social responsibility, supporting our students in contributing meaningfully to their communities and transforming this contribution into a sustainable process.
In a world where information and data are produced at unprecedented speed, we also aim to equip our students with the ability to analyze and synthesize complex data sets in a qualified and critical manner. By developing advanced competencies in multimedia literacy, our graduates are prepared to interpret, produce, and give meaning to content within an increasingly dense and message-driven media environment.
