What is a CV and how do I prepare one?
CV is a written document given to the relevant personnel when applying for a job in any company where you will work.
- Your resume should use a specific font, and the font style should be consistent.
- Take care to avoid spelling and punctuation errors.
- Highlight your skills, achievements, and work experience. Don't just list what you did, but also what you contributed to the companies you worked for.
- Write your section headings in a way that will catch the attention of those evaluating your resume. For example, creating section headings such as “Experience,” “Leadership,” “Skills,” and “Activities/Awards” will be interesting.
Passport photos will make your CV official. In order to maintain your professionalism, it will be useful to avoid posting your vacation or daily photos.
You should give priority to choosing your references in your CV from business life. If you do not have work experience yet, you should add people who know you well in your education life.
One of the most frequently asked questions during the interview is hobbies. For this reason, it would be more accurate to write down the areas you are most interested in while writing your hobbies.
- When writing an effective CV, you must pay attention to the spelling rules.
- You should prepare a cover letter suitable for the position you are applying for.
- Educational knowledge is very important when preparing a CV. You must put the programs you have graduated in a chronological order.
- Avoid adding unnecessary information.
