Lecturer Alparslan Özkardeş is a visual communication designer and academician. He completed his undergraduate education with high honors in the Visual Communication Design Department of Doğuş University. Lecturer Alparslan Özkardeş is a visual communication designer and academician. He completed his undergraduate education with high honors in the Visual Communication Design Department of Doğuş University. He then completed his master's degree in animation cinema at Istanbul University and is currently working on his doctoral thesis in the same field. He also produces his own independent film and video art works. A member of the Short Film Directors Association, Özkardeş has directed several short films that have screened at national and international festivals and won awards. He has served as a jury member at the Yalova International Film Festival, İzmit International Short Film Festival, National Topkapı Student Short Film Festival, Yıldız Technical University Student Cartoon Competitions. Özkardeş, who has been an academic since 2020, continues his academic work and teaching at İstinye University's Computer-Aided Design and Animation Program. He teaches courses such as 3D Animation, 3D Modeling, Motion Graphics, Digital Production, Editing, Video Production Techniques, Interactive Media Design, and Multimedia. In addition to his academic studies and artistic activities, Özkardeş also collaborates with advertising agencies and production companies.
