As the Computer Programming department, we aim to train fully equipped computer programmers of our era with our curriculum designed in line with the latest technologies (aligned with computer and software engineering curricula) and our strong academic staff. With our laboratories equipped with up-to-date software and hardware, we aim to support your practical courses and ensure you graduate one step ahead. In line with these goals, students at Istinye University have the opportunity to develop projects integrated with leading industry professionals and gain experience in their field. Additionally, our students can establish companies in the pre-incubation and incubation units at the "Industry Collaboration" office or work in companies founded within Istinye University.


What Will You Learn?

Along with fundamental topics such as basic programming logic, network technologies, database systems, and computer hardware, you will also gain expertise in specialized areas like web programming and mobile programming. Through theoretical and practical courses, you will learn how to design and code object-oriented systems, understand the basics of machine learning and data mining, use numerical and artificial intelligence techniques for problem solving, develop applications for Android or iOS mobile devices (Flutter), and write programs in C, C++, C#, MVC, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript. You will also be introduced to advanced vision courses such as Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, Applied Artificial Intelligence, Basic Cryptography, Parallel Programming, Digital Electronics, Web Development Techniques (Node JS, React), and Advanced Python, allowing you to explore different perspectives of programming. Thus, you will gain mastery of core industry principles while also building advanced knowledge in your chosen specialization.

You can work in companies that provide software/system support and solutions across all sectors, or in IT firms within the software industry as an application programmer, network programmer, system analyst, or in many other positions.
