He worked as Aircraft- Helicopter Technician, Helicopter Fuselage Instructor, Cobra Helicopter Weapon and Electrical Systems Instructor, Flight Technician Training Standartisation Officer, Aircraft- Helicopter Quality Control Technician, Air vehicles recording department head, Aircraft- Helicopter Supervisor at the Turkish Land Forces Command. He achieved 4200 flight hours during his work at the helicopters and aircrafts of Turkish Land Forces Command. He retired in 2014 voluntarily. He then worked as a Manager at the Private Sector and he is a certified DGR Advisor. Lecturer Oktay Karagöz has been working since 2018 at the Aircraft Technologies program of the Vocational School of “Istinye University”.
