Doktora tezinin konusu “Mikro ve Makro Etkileri Yönünden Elektrikli Otomobiller (Türkiye Ekonomisi Örneği)” idi. Ardından 2013-2015 yılları arasında Galatasaray Üniversitesinde yarı zamanlı öğretim görevlisi olarak akademik hayata adım attı. 2015 yılında Beykent Üniversitesi Uluslararası Ticaret ve Finansman (İngilizce) bölümünde doktor öğretim üyesi olarak tam zamanlı olarak çalışmaya başladı. 2017-2021 yılları arasında İktisat (Türkçe) bölüm başkanlığı, 2021-2022 döneminde ise Uluslararası Ticaret ve Finansman (İngilizce) bölüm başkanlığı görevlerini yerine getirdi. Ayrıca, 2013’ten beri Bilgi Üniversitesinde yarı zamanlı doçent olarak görev yapmaktadır. 2018 yılında Birleşik Krallık Yüksek Öğretimde Öğretme ve Öğrenme Desteği Amaçlı Mesleki Standartlar Çerçevesinde Yüksek Öğretim Akademisinden “Kıdemli Eğitmen” sertifikasını almaya hak kazandı. 21 Ekim 2022’de Doçentlik unvanını Uluslararası İktisat alanından aldı. Akademik çalışma alanları arasında; uluslararası iktisat, uluslararası ticaret, otomotiv endüstrisi, inovasyon ve kadın istihdamı konuları bulunmaktadır. Fransızca ve İngilizce bilmektedir. Gülin ve Berfin adında iki çocuk annesidir.
