“Applied Market Research in Exporting with TradeMap” Event Has been Held

The Department of International Trade and Business at Istinye University organized the event titled “Applied Market Research in Exporting with TradeMap” on December 2, 2025, at the Vadi H Campus Conference Hall.

The event featured Dr. Mutlu Yılmaz as the guest speaker, who provided an applied overview of how export markets can be analyzed using the TradeMap database. Through practical examples, participants gained insights into country-based export data analysis, identification of potential target markets, product-level competitiveness assessment, and data-driven decision-making processes in international trade.

Aiming to enhance students’ analytical skills in the field of international trade, the event attracted interest due to its practical focus and use of up-to-date global trade data. The session concluded with a Q&A segment, during which career perspectives in foreign trade were also discussed.
