Five Workshops Held as Part of the 2nd Interdisciplinary Student Symposium of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences

Under the theme of sustainability, the 2nd Interdisciplinary Student Symposium of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences was held on December 16–17, 2025, during which five valuable workshops were successfully conducted.

Throughout the symposium, the workshops actively involved the Departments of Economics, Political Science, and Gastronomy, as well as the IRCOS and EPAM Research Centers, and i-Lab, a Research and Development Laboratory operating within our institution. With the contributions of esteemed faculty members and the participation of students, the workshops provided a productive academic environment that strengthened interdisciplinary collaboration.

In addition, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to the 9th-grade students of Istanbul Girls’ Anadolu Imam Hatip High School who participated in the i-Lab workshop, as well as to Mr. Ramazan Ayaz, the school principal, Nazlı Akay, biology teacher, and Vice Principal Özlem Eravcı, who contributed to the organization. Their support was highly valuable and greatly appreciated.
