Within the scope of the “Twin Transformation and Sustainability Production Center in the Healthcare Sector” Project, company visits were carried out to analyze existing processes on-site with a focus on lean transformation, digital twin, and sustainability.

As part of the field studies, comprehensive visits were conducted with the participation of our Faculty Dean, academic staff, expert team, and undergraduate students. During these visits, one-on-one meetings were held with company teams, current business processes were examined on site, and needs and expectations were analyzed in detail. In the evaluations carried out, the lean transformation approach, digital twin applications, and sustainability perspective were addressed together, and the current situation of the companies was assessed from a holistic point of view. In this way, specific development areas were identified for each company, contributing to the creation of roadmaps toward efficiency, digitalization, and sustainable production goals.

The visuals obtained during the visits are presented below. The images respectively include photographs from the companies Adam Tech, AveA, Medel Medikal, Plasti-Med, and Qamara.

These activities carried out within the scope of the project represent an important step toward the dissemination of twin transformation and sustainability practices in the healthcare sector, while also serving as a concrete indicator of the strong collaboration established with industry stakeholders.
