The results of the September 2025 activities carried out within the scope of Istinye University’s Third Five-Year Action Plan were evaluated at the Extended Senate Meeting held on October 15, 2025.
During the meeting, Vice Rector for Strategic Transformation Prof. Dr. Hatice Gülen presented the progress report for the January–September period of the action plan. The report included detailed evaluations on the overall realization rate, progress levels by category and project, and performance indicators (KPIs).
Prof. Dr. Gülen also shared the intervention steps planned for indicators that remained below the general average, outlining the improvement strategies and corrective actions to be implemented. In addition, areas with strong performance and completed targets were reviewed.
In the second part of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Gülen conveyed the key policy topics discussed at the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) meeting titled “Turkey’s Higher Education 2030 Roadmap.” Within this framework, she shared the main components of the YÖK 2030 vision, including the expansion of work-based learning models at undergraduate and graduate levels, the development of innovative programs, curriculum simplification and a practice-oriented education approach, enhancement of accreditation processes, and increased international visibility.
In line with these evaluations, the strong alignment between Istinye University’s current strategic action plan and the national higher education vision is intended to serve as a foundation for shaping the university’s strategic steps in a holistic, innovative, and forward-looking manner in the coming period.
