Istinye University Department of Foreign Languages English Preparatory Program September 2020 Exam Schedule Update
In line with the recommendation sent to universities by the Directorate of Higher Education Institution on 04.09.2020, it has been decided to conduct the following exams to be applied by our department online.
September 16, 2020 - Online Exam Orientation (For new students) Participation is mandatory for all students enrolled in an English department in the 2020-2021 academic year. With this sample exam, our students will have the opportunity to experience the applications (ALMS and ZOOM) to be used in English Placement and English Proficiency (ISTEP) exams. Information about the sample exam will be announced on our website before the exam.
September 22, 2020 - English Placement Exam (For new students) All students enrolled in an English department in the 2020-2021 academic year are required to take the English Placement Exam. The exam will be administered online at 11:00 am on Istinye University ALMS system and ZOOM application. Class lists and information about exam administration will be announced on our website before the exam.
September 25, 2020 - English Proficiency Exam (For new students) Students who are enrolled in an English department in the 2020-2021 academic year and who get a score of 75 or above in the English Placement Exam on September 22 will be eligible to take this exam. The exam will be applied online at 10:00 am on Istinye University ALMS system and ZOOM application. Student and class lists and information about the exam application will be announced on our website before the exam.
