The project "Youth of the Republic's 100," will be organized by Istinye University's International Sustainability Application and Research Center, encompasses the sustainability areas of 'Education,' 'Equality,' 'Environment,' and 'Health' within Istinye University. The dynamic youth of the Republic have developed a new project in order to fulfill their responsibility to leave a better and livable world for tomorrow's youth and contribute to sustainable development in the second century of our Republic, disseminating this awareness to a broader audience.
The first stage of the project, "Environmental Responsibility," led by 4th-year students of the Public Relations and Advertising Department of the Faculty of Communication, aims to increase environmental awareness and foster a culture of solidarity among students. This special event, titled "Republic's 100: Environmental Responsibility Cleanup Activity," is open to all students and is conducted under the leadership of students in the Public Relations and Advertising Department.
ISU students will organize the "Republic's 100: Environmental Responsibility Cleanup Activity" at Vadi H Campus - Vadi Main Campus. In order to raise environmental awareness and promote consciousness about not littering, the students set up informative booths, distributed brochures about eco-friendly practices, and provided information to fellow students. By collecting trash in the area between the two campuses, they drew attention to environmental cleanliness and took a significant step in increasing environmental awareness. The trash collection activity by the students will also be repeated in different locations and at different times.
The event will be held at Istinye University Vadi H Campus provided students with the opportunity to fulfill their environmental responsibilities and create awareness in the community. This special event, which stands out as an important step in increasing the environmental consciousness of the younger generation, emphasizes the significance of small steps taken for a sustainable future. It aims to reach everyone with the awareness of social responsibility among Istinye University students in the field of environmental responsibility.
