On 18 March 2022, Prof. Dr. Savchenko E. Yu, Rector of the International University of Kyrgyzstan, and Prof. Dr. Erkan İbiş, Rector of Istinye University, signed a collaboration agreement to realize the vision and future goals of the two universities.
The collaboration encompasses staff training, joint programs and other endeavors. On 28 November 2022, after the collaboration agreement was signed, the universities shared knowledge and experience to expand the scope of the agreement. Prof. Dr. Erkan İbiş and Istinye University’s collaboration implementation team plan to visit the International University of Kyrgyzstan in the near future to negotiate long-term continuation of the collaboration.
