Yaren Aslan, a 1st year student in the English-Medium Nursing Department at Istinye University, became the 2nd most successful athlete in the world in the 70-kg category for female athletes under 22 at the Ashihara Karate World Championship held in Antalya between 2-6 March 2022.Yaren Aslan, who also participated in the 1st Kiwami Kumite AIKO Cup held on March 5, achieved coming in the 2nd place.
Yaren Aslan, a national athlete, who is professionally interested in KyokushinKarate took part in more than fifty competitions in the country and abroad. She started with Taekwondo in 2008 and stepped into martial arts and then became interested in the sport of Baika with the advice of her family and succeeded in achieving the 3rd place in the Kyokushin Karate World Youth Category in 2016.
