A Seminar and Workshop on “Sustainability at MLPCARE Group” Was Held in Our Department of Health Management!

On October 19, 2026, the Department of Health Management hosted Derya Karadeniz, Sustainability Manager at MLPCare, as part of the "Management Practices in Healthcare Institutions" (SAY 407) course.

The session featured a presentation by Ms. Karadeniz titled "Sustainability at the MLPCare Group," followed by an interactive sustainability workshop.

During the event, the topic of sustainability in healthcare institutions was explored from a multidimensional perspective, covering areas such as climate change, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria, the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol, Turkish Sustainability Reporting Standards (TSRS), and JCI Global Health Impact standards.

In the workshop, students had the opportunity to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through case studies, engaging in group work focused on emission management, decarbonization strategies, and "green hospital" practices, drawing upon successful examples from MLPCare.
