Istinye University, being aware of the negative effects of air pollution on quality of life, aims to minimize its institutional impact on all air pollutants, including greenhouse gas emissions—also referred to as its carbon footprint—by supporting best practices. To this end, it develops and implements plans to reduce energy consumption and transition to renewable energy.
In alignment with its objectives in education, research, and societal contribution, the University recognizes its responsibility to provide education and conduct research aimed at preventing global warming and adapting to climate change, and invites all its stakeholders to this awareness.
