Istinye University adopts the principle of protecting the health and safety of all stakeholders on its campuses, including academic and administrative staff, students, and all related parties. This principle aims to raise the highest level of awareness among all stakeholders in line with the effort to create a positive impact on society and the environment.
Within this scope, the use of cigarettes and tobacco products (including electronic cigarettes) is prohibited inside campus buildings, in indoor and outdoor sports areas, the Student Center, the Congress Center, and other open areas.
Smoking is only permitted in designated “Smoking Areas” within campus open spaces. These rules also apply to visitors to the University. Disciplinary measures will be applied in accordance with relevant legislation for students, staff, and visitors who do not comply with these rules.
