Istinye University prioritizes carrying out activities to protect the environment not only within its campuses but also from local to global scales, thereby contributing to the protection of public health.

For this purpose, it implements practices focused on efficiency and conservation to minimize its environmental footprint, particularly regarding greenhouse gases that cause climate change, as well as all pollutant emissions, water and wastewater, natural resources, and waste.

It monitors these environmental protection practices in terms of education, research, operations, infrastructure, and social responsibility; and continuously improves them by considering the principles of inclusiveness and a holistic approach.

It also establishes information management systems supported by digital transformation to ensure an effective and efficient process-based management model for the University, and develops actions within this framework.
