In a ceremony at Istinye University’s Topkapı Campus Congress Center on Friday, 15 March 2024, first-term Faculty of Medicine students donned their white coats, symbolizing their first step into the profession. In the presence of their families and with great excitement and pride, the students stood in their white coats alongside esteemed faculty members of the Faculty of Medicine and distinguished members of Istinye University Hospital.
The ceremony began with a speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Ayberk Kurt and continued with a speech by first-year student Alihan Toprak. Other speakers included Dr. Fatih Akpınar, the General Manager of Liv Hospital Bahçeşehir; Assist. Prof. Ferda Kaya Zaman, the Chief Physician of Liv Hospital Bahçeşehir; Prof. Dr. Ozan Özkaya, the Medical Director of Liv Hospital Bahçeşehir and Deputy Dean of Istinye University; and Zuhal Çelebioğlu, the General Manager of Istinye University Hospital MedicalPark Gaziosmanpaşa.
