Istinye University Faculty Members Speak at the 9th TIGED Congress

The 9th National Transplantation Immunology and Genetics Association Congress took place last week in Antalya. The Congress addresses the latest developments in immunology and immunogenetics in organ and blood stem cell transplantation and recent developments in transplantation such as machine learning.

Istinye University faculty members presented research that drew attention at the congress. Prof. Dr. Ozan Özkaya presented a paper entitled, "Chronic Active T-Cell Rejection." Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Taşdemir presented a paper entitled, "Are T Cells Friends or Foes?" Prof. Dr. Ayhan Dinçkan, Organ Transplantation Center Director at Istinye University, presented a paper entitled, "Transplantation in Obese Patients.” All were well-received. The 

PROFESSOR ÇARİN RECEIVES OUTSTANDING PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AWARD

The congress presented Prof. Dr. Mahmut Çarin of Istinye University’s Tissue Laboratory with the 'Outstanding Professional Service Award' for his contributions to transplantation immunology.

The congress is closely followed by the medical community.
