Dr. from Istinye University, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design. Lecturer For its third event, the Contents: Speculative Space Research series, organized by member Mustafa Mortaş, Res. See. Erenalp hosts Büyüktopcu.
In his presentation titled "Dismantling Imaginary Future Fictions Intertemporally", Büyüktopcu offers a re-reading and awareness (about its current reflections) for past practices such as the Situationists, and a critical-creative analysis for current practices such as the Unknown Fields Division. and will examine the opportunity for speculative interpretation (of future imaginings). His intertemporal dismantling, for which he attaches importance to qualities such as being critical-creative, questioning and cumulatively productive, and constructing foreign-familiar interaction, will be conveyed through the constituent components he groups as politics, ecology, and representative productions.
Dismantling Imaginary Future Constructs Intertemporally will take place on March 26, 2024, at 16:00 in conference hall No. V123 of Istinye University Vadi H Campus. Participation in the event is open to everyone.
