The 8th anniversary of Istinye University was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the participation of academic and administrative staff, students, and alumni. The ceremony started with a speech by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Erkan Ibıs, and our university's founder, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Muharrem Usta was with us ‘Istinye Family’.
The ceremony attracted intense interest from academic and administrative staff, students, and alumni. After the speech of Dr. Muharrem Usta, the founder of our university, where he shared important information about the work done, achievements, and future goals since the establishment of ISU, an enjoyable competition was held, in which all participants measured their knowledge about the university. The competition was followed by fun moments, as participants answered questions about our university.
The 8th anniversary of Istinye University was an important day for all Istinye Staff. Celebrations were held with the participation of academic and administrative staff, students, and alumni, which reinforced the unity and solidarity of the Istinye community, and provided morale and motivation for the university's future efforts in the fields of education, research, and science in the following years.
The interactive and enjoyable competition, in which everyone who participated measured their knowledge about Istinye University, was enlivened by Egemen Şan's entertaining presentation. Our Vice Secretary General, Ms. Begüm Usta, who won the competition and became the best-informed person about Istinye University, received her award from our Vice Rectors, Prof. Dr. Hatice Gülen and Prof. Dr. Peyami Çelikcan at the end of the competition.
At the end of the ceremony, a concert prepared by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Demet Gürhan and Prof. Dr. Güler Demirova Györffy was held. Beautiful songs were performed in the concert, and all Istinye Family who loved music had enchanting and unforgettable moments. The ISU Staff accompanied the music and chatted with each other, enjoying the celebrations.
After this special day, as the Istinye University family, we aim to move forward with the achievements we have gained since our establishment and make further progress in our research efforts in the fields of education, research, and science.
